Thanks to the PGA for sharing this important message!
New Golf Procedures as a result of COVID-19:
We have some important changes in place to keep the golf operation safe for you and our staff. We’re still working hard to provide the best golf experience possible for you, but we need your help to make it work for everyone.
Pre-scheduled Tee Times: All golfing is by tee time reservation; walk-in golfers are not encouraged
Participate in “no touch” golf to avoid use of shared equipment – leave flagsticks in holes, etc.
No gathering before or after your round of golf in parking lots, near clubhouse, etc. Just check-in and hit the links!
Golf cart dividers are provided for your safety and to meet CDC guidelines during the COVID-19 epidemic. Please leave the dividers up. If safety equipment is being tampered with, we will not be able to continue the use of golf carts.
We have been very eager to start our season (again), and we hope we can stay open throughout the summer, but it will take efforts from all of us to keep our three city golf courses safe and enjoyable for everyone. Thank you!
Shoaff Park Golf Course & Driving Range End of the Season Schedule
The course will close at the end of the business day, October 31st. Visit McMillen (open weather permitting/set to close Nov. 21) and Foster (open weather permitting/set to close December 23) to continue to enjoy golf this season!
Make Plans to Play at Shoaff Park Golf Course & Driving Range!
Shoaff Park Golf Course is a great place to learn the game of golf. The course plays to a par of 54 and offers golfers a wide variety of challenges. This course allows you to work on your short game from around the greens, but also your long iron tee shots to small greens. Our course is great for beginners or for those out to enjoy a nice walk in the park.
When inclement weather occurs, courses may close for a short period, or for the day, depending upon the severity of the weather. To check on course availability, or to schedule tee times, call the golf course where you plan to play.
Shoaff Park Golf Course is open from sunrise to 30 minutes prior to sunset, weather permitting.
Group golf lessons for boys and girls ages 6-18 will be offered this summer at Shoaff Park Golf Course. Instruction is conducted from 8:00-9:00 a.m. followed by course play until 11:30. Instructor Chris Jones is a PGA Professional and the Manager of Golf Operations for the Parks and Recreation Department. Call the Shoaff Park Golf Course Clubhouse at 427-6745 for more information or to sign up.
